Multi-Purpose Pig Locator (PS-PL1)

Our pig location systems have proven their complete reliability in countless situations, from successful pig tracking to accurate location of stopped pigs. These highly efficient systems are suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including the cleaning and drying phases of newly constructed pipelines, pressure testing, maintenance pigging of operational lines, with batching pigs during product changes, and also in conjunction with inline inspection tools.

The principle behind the technology is simple: the transmitter, which is fixed to the pig, produces a low-frequency electromagnetic signal, which penetrates the pipe wall and the soil covering the line.

A pig location receiver then amplifies and analyses the signal from the transmitter. A modern digital signal processing system ensures a large operating radius and excellent noise suppression.

GPS module can create mapping cordinates with its own software. GSM module can send SMS about pig passage events details like date, time, gain and GPS coordinates. Geophone also let you hear pig passege noise. External antenna will provide %190 range additionally.
